Gangs of Wasseypur, Gandu, Queens! Destiny of Dance and Dekh Indian Circus are just a few of the Indian films at LIFF 2012, being held from June 20-July 3
Just two days before its release in India (June 22), Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur will premiere at the 2012 London Indian Film Festival (LIFF) as its opening film.
Last year’s hot fave at the festival was Aamir Khan’s production Delhi Belly. This year, it is clearly Gangs of Wasseypur, which was well-received at the recently concluded 65th Cannes Film Festival. LIFF will screen a mix of Hindi, Hinglish, English, Bengali and Tamil films made by Indians. Take a look at this year’s offering, with details of the film and the screening time and venue below. Other events include the Satyajit Ray Foundation’s Short Film Competiton with screenings and the Experimenta India – Liff @ The Tate Modern.

Anurag Kashyap should ban this Film festival as it’s a film festival that’s agents the upcoming film students. Cary Rajinder Sawhney film festival director of London Indian Film Festival
Is making money with this festival and making us students work like slaves for free under the blanket of work experience. What a cheap man. At least pay us the travel expenses.
Typical Indian mentality, just uses and abuses us and make money for yourself.
Shame on you.
