The crew members of the TV show are currently facing a delay regarding their dues
Looks like Colors’ hit TV Madhubala: Ek Ishq Ek Junoon show has a red mark on its lantern. The production crew of the show still await their timely dues, as revealed by the sources.
A crew member from the show while talking to a popular daily said “The show is about to go off air but it recently got a few weeks’ extension as the new show that will replace it is not yet ready. Since the past few weeks, we have not got our money. We got our cheques only to realise that they have bounced. We are thinking of having a word with the senior members of the production team and it would be great if we could sort things out at the earliest.”
The crew member went on to say that the team is currently completing shooting for the show in order to move on to the next assignment. He further added that he and his members are thoroughly disappointed with the state of affairs and were expecting to end the show on a happy note since they have been associated with it for years.
Abhinav Shukla the producer of the show on the other hand , denied the statement completely and while talking to a leading newspaper said, “If they haven’t really been paid, then they should come to me or report the matter to the workers’ union, why are saying this to the media. This is all hogwash.”
Well like always, we are seeing two sides of the same coin. Nonetheless we hope the workmen get their timely dues soon!
