Madhuri maintains that good content sells and Rs 100 crore is a just coined term. In fact she is willing to do Marathi films as long as she gets a good script
Madhuri Dixit-Nene is in the spotlight once again for her forthcoming movie Dedh Ishqiya in which she will play the love interest of Naseeruddin Shah’s character. Director Abhishek Chaubey is happy to have directed Madhuri and the superstar is also thankful for she could be a part of a good project. Mads is looking for the release of the movie but she is very clear in her head as in what decides the success of the movie.
She firmly states that Rs 100 crore club is just a coined term. Now that makes us curious if the megastar is keen to work in Marathi movies considering the fact that Marathi movies are doing well with their solid content and unconventional story lines. “If it’s destined to happen, it will. I’m open to the idea as long as someone approaches me with a good story. I will treat the script like any other Hindi film,” said Mads in an interview.
