Let’s take a look the dhak dhak girl’s style statements

Madhuri Dixit-Nene turned 47 today. This evergreen beauty may not look her age (in a good way, of course), courtesy her style. But sometimes she does go overboard while trying to make a style statement. Anyways, on her birthday, let’s take a look at her appearances, good and bad.

The Gulaab Gang actor has made several appearances at events due to two releases this year. Be it traditional or western, Mads can carry off most looks with utmost grace.

Recently, at IIFA Awards 2014, Madhuri walked down the green carpet in a Jatin Varma gown. While the gown wasn’t flattering her curves, she still pulled off the look. And while she looks lovely in gowns, she hasn’t shied away from stepping out in saree gowns, one of the ongoing trends in B-town. At IIFA, Madhuri was seen in a Sonaakshi Raaj gown. Well, saree gowns look better on the runway than in real. That’s all we wanna say today. Madhuri was spotted in a piano sheath dress by Pankaj and Nidhi at IIFA press meet. At a party hosted by a popular TV channel, Madhuri Dixit posed for the shutter bugs in a Pankaj and Nidhi churidar suit. The dhak dhak girl looked like an absolute delight in the BollywoodLife inspired pink suit. At an awards function, Madhuri was seen in a Sabyasachi lehenga. You tell us, who doesn’t look stunning in a Sabyasachi outfit?

Madhuri hasn’t limited herself to gowns, sarees and dresses, but she has even sported skirts and denims. During the promotions of Gulaab Gang, she was seen in a Zara skirt on one show and in denims on another. Well, the straight-fit denims looked a bit weird but as Madhuri flashed her pearlies, our hearts melted, and how!

Well, Madhuri Dixit-Nene is quite versatile with her style. She likes experimenting with new trends even if the appearances turn out to be disastrous sometimes. And no matter what the fashion police have to say, Mads still doesn’t mind wearing what she likes. She isn’t one of those actors who sticks to conventional black but has donned every possible hue, dull and bright, and with poise. As she grows a year older and wiser, we hope she continues to give us stunning appearances… What say, peeps?
