The stand-up comedy reality show for kids premieres February 25
Shahrukh Khan‘s Pardes girl makes a comeback on TV. Mahima aka Ritu Chaudhry will be judging the new season of Colors’ popular comedy reality show, Chhote Miyan Chapter 3. Actor-director Sachin Pilgaonkar, who is also a great dancer and had won the first season of Nach Baliye along with his wife Supriya, returns as judge. Earlier, Raveena Tandon and Rahul Mahajan had also been on the jury of the show that has some exceptional talent. The third season will see a ‘boys versus girls’ theme for children aged between 8 to 14 years.
Mahima said, “I have always loved comedy and when Chhote Miyan Chapter 3 was offered to me, I couldn’t turn it down. It gives me the double chance of not only being around kids, but also witnessing the innocent minds of kids at work while creating comic moments that leave me in splits. Being a mother, I cherish every minute I get to spend with children because they are the perfect balance of innocence and mischievousness. The kids on the show are exceptionally talented and keep us thoroughly entertained through their acts. I am sure that the audiences will enjoy watching it just as much as I have enjoyed working on it.”
The children will showcase acts on current topics and portray popular characters like Basanti, Harry Potter and Daler Mehndi among others. The contestants who will be seen on the show include Jayesh Kardak, Alam Khan, Akshat Sharma, Tanmay Chaturvedi, Guneet Singh, Ketan Khanna, Chinky Jaiswal, Swasti Nitya, Aditi Khandelwal, Sohi Sharma, Riddhi Arrora and Manyata Shrivastav. Chhote Miyan Chapter 3 premieres February 25, 2012 and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 7pm.
