Manisha Koirala reinvents her career in Mollywood
The beautiful actor who was once on top of the ladder of actors in Bollywood, Manisha Koirala is now just a ghost of her past glory and her onscreen appearances are now limited mostly to Tamil and Telugu movies
Manisha Korala’s last release was in Kollywood in the Dhanush starrer flick Mappillai which hit the screens last year. Now the actor is stepping into Malayalam films again. Manisha bid adieu to her active acting career after she entered wedlock with Samrat Dahal in June 2010. According to sources, popular director Lenin Rajendran is all set to start his next film Edavapathy, which will have Manisha playing a crucial role. “This will mark the actor’s return to art house cinema in a big way,” sources say. This will mark her second appearance in a Malayalam film. Manisha had done a pivotal role in Shyamaprasad’s Elektra. The actor is keen to restart her journey in the tinsel town. “She feels Edavapathy is a good choice to achieve her goal,” add sources. Some of the popular south Indian movies starring Manisha are Bombay and Uyire directed by Mani Ratnam, Indian directed by Shankar and Rajnikanth starrer Baba. Let’s hope this does in fact make the comeback Manisha is looking for. Good luck gal!
