The ailing singer who was hospitalised over the weekend after he complained of chest infection is feeling slightly better now, say sources
Legendary singer Manna Dey was admitted to Bangalore’s Narayana Hrudayalaya with a chest infection and his condition was said to be critical. The latest we hear now is that the 94-year-old veteran’s condition has shown marginal improvement. “His condition is slightly better than yesterday. There is marginal improvement. He is stable,” sources at Narayana Hrudayalaya said.
Manna Dey, who has rendered his voice to over 3,500 songs in a career spanning seven decades, made Bangalore his home after living in Mumbai for 50 years. We wish the singer, who has mesmerised music buffs across the globe, a speedy recovery.
