Pradeep Sarkar’s directorial venture managed to rake in decent amount on day 4 (Monday)
Rani Mukerji’s latest offering has done well at the ticket windows so far. Though Mardaani started off on a slow note, the hard hitting film has managed to collect over Rs 17 crore at the Indian box office. Aditya Chopra’s production venture starring his wifey hit the screens on August 22 and collected approximately Rs 3 crore nett. Over the weekend the collections went up and Rani starrer grossed around Rs 14 crore nett by the end of the weekend. On Monday, Mardaani fared quite well at the ticket windows. And now its total domestic box office collection stands at Rs 17.50 crore nett, an entertainment portal reported.
According to Boxofficeindia, “The film has fared best in Mumbai and West Bengal. It will be important for Mardaani to hold collections on the weekdays at around the 2 crore nett level which may enable to get enough screenings in week two to get around the 30 crore nett mark for lifetime business which would be a decent result.”
