The first look of Rani’s much-talked about film Mardaani is out and we do like her new avatar – de-glam and tough!
Ever since Rani Mukerji starrer Mardaani was announced, we were eager to see what the makers had in store for us. And the fact that the Bombay Talkies actor had teamed up with director Pradeep Sarkar for this one, only made our expectations go several notches up. Well, going by the first look of Mardaani, we can certainly say Rani and the talented filmmaker haven’t let us down. In the first look poster, the Bong beauty is dressed in black kurta and is seen sporting a gun in her hand. Though the B-town beauty seems to be inspired from her good friend Aamir Khan who played a cop in Talaash, we like her gritty attitude and body language in the poster. What’s even more interesting is the tagline which reads – Every war is personal. Guess we are going to see bindaas Rani Mukerji onscreen once again. Remember in No One Killed Jessica this heroine played a gutsy journalist? But in Mardaani we’ll get to see Aditya Chopra’s wifey in real action, which would be even better, hai na peeps?
Mardaani will be Rani‘s first release post marriage and considering that her hubby has produced the film, we are sure it’s special for both of them. While we liked the first look of the Rani’s cop film, Bollywoodlifers now you tell us what you think.
