The tainted ex-cricketer will compose tunes and pen down lyrics for a bilingual film.
The maligned ex-cricketer Sreesanth, known for his brash behaviour and indisciplined attitude, will be seen donning a new avatar as the music composer for a bilingual flick Anbulla Azhage. The pace bowler will also be penning the lyrics for the songs.
The erratic cricketer, who has a strong attraction for the controversies, was recently banned by the BCCI from all forms of cricket after his shameful antiques with the towel surfaced in the media. Alike all culprits, Sreesanth, guilty of spot fixing, has always maintained that he is innocent.
The allegedly ‘innocent’ Sreesanth, will also be taking part in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Kochi’s express bowler, who had the golden opportunity to shake a leg with Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan, seems to be on a look out of an alternative career after his cricketing dreams crashed abruptly.
The way the entertainment industry has welcomed Sreesanth is a proof that even tarnished cricketers have a place in the showbiz. Any publicity, good or bad, is still a publicity and the film and TV producers are looking to encash on this bad boy image of Sreesanth. Sreesanth , who also displayed his acting skills when he turned teary eyed during the infamous IPL slap gate, has already got some acting offers in the the Malayalam film industry.
Popular for his unethical code of conduct, we hope to see much more of controversies emerging from the fixing sensation Sreesanth but this time from the film sets and not the cricket field.
