The Shahid Kapoor-Sonam Kapoor film which was awaiting clearance from the IAF, has been given a green signal by the Central Board of Film Certification
There have been doubts over whether Pankaj Kapur’s directorial venture Mausam will be able to hit the screens on Friday, September 16. But looks like the film might finally be able to make it. The IAF had held back it’s no objection certificate last week, demanding some changes in the fight sequences of the film. But the censor board saw the film yesterday and has given it a green signal, bypassing the demand’s of the IAF. Censor board chief Pankaj Thakur has said that the Air Force wants certain cuts in the film as per an MOU signed between the producer and the Air Force, but “the CBFC was not a party to any such agreement”. Mausam, has thus been given an all-clear by the censor board regardless of IAF’s objections. Shahid and Sonam can finally heave a sigh of relief!
