Bollywood’s acting legend remembers meeting the American musical phenomenon at a New York hotel
Amitabh Bachchan is a big fan of the phenomenon called Michael Jackson (who isn’t?). When Michael died suddenly on June 25, 2009, Big B had blogged about it. On his fourth death anniversary yesterday, the actor fondly recalled meeting the musical genius in New York. He shared how MJ had knocked on his hotel room door by mistake during a concert trip.
Big B said, “…its 4 years since the death of Michael Jackson … a true phenomena, if ever there was one .. I had met him in New York once, when he had knocked on my Hotel room door by mistake, thinking it was his … we were staying in the same Hotel.”
The legend also remembered the madness at an MJ concert he had attended earlier. He said, “Earlier I had been to a concert of his in Jacksonville .. had no tickets, no room bookings, nothing … but managed to get a place right on the last tier of the stadium he was performing in .. such fantastic memories .. !!”
Fantastic, indeed – a meeting of two legends!
