The Dirty Picture director is planning to make a film on Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case titled Bihaad: Outlawed
Milan Luthria is known for making movies on hatke topics for his films and now the 46-yaer-old filmmaker has chosen a storyline, which is as complicated as it is mysterious. After making movies like The Dirty Picture, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai Dobara, the director is now planning to make a film on Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case titled Bihaad: Outlawed. The sorry incident that happened on May 16, 2008 at Talwar’s Noida residence shook whole of India. The case is still in court and is proceeding slow.
Why and how this subject caught Luthria’s fancy we wondered. “The case has become an Aarushi murder case. We have almost forgotten about Hemraj, the domestic help of the Talwars, whose body was found the next day. Nobody cried for his justice. I want to bring all these to the fore. With my film, I want to sensitively explore the case, without exaggerating anything. We are following the case closely and the script will reflect the case proceedings.” explained Luthria.
The film we hear will be made under Luthria’s banner Vertex Motion Pictures, he will not have him directing the film, but will be the creative producer. Talking about his choice of the subject Luthria maintains that it was indeed a classic whodunit case that’s been going on for the last five years, but nobody knows what exactly happened on that unfortunate night that led to the twin murder.
