The Disco Dancer might do a film with Jayaraj

Mithun Chakraborty is spreading his wings. After doing Hindi and Bengali cinema, he is now getting ready to step into Malayalam cinema. While Mithun’s Bollywood career was at its peak in the 1980s and early ’90s, he became popular with the current generation with his performances in Guru and Golmaal 3. After decades of creating magic on screen, the actor is finally set to enter Malayalam cinema, an industry which, like Bengali, is heralded for its technical excellence. Buzz is that director Jayaraj recently approached the three-time National Award winning actor for playing an important role in his next film. And Mithunda has agreed to hear the script. We would love to see him in Mollywood and hope he accepts. Fingers crossed.
