Monica Bedi takes inspiration from Shahrukh Khan

The actor plays a negative character in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saraswatichandra, and she thinks that taking up such a role will boost her career as some of the most accomplished B-town actors have made it big despite playing grey characters 

“I don’t fear getting typecast. I am not scared of being called the vamp of small screen. As this is not the typical vamp character. It is a grey shade.It is not negative completely. If we look at what SRK did in Baazigar, Kajol did in Gupt... Bollywood’s biggest artists have done negative characters. It adds to your career.”
