Fans are clearly spoilt for choice! The year is beginning with a bang indeed. Vijay, Chiranjeevi, Nandamuri, Vijay Sethupathi are all set to rule the box office this Jan. So let’s give you lowdown of the releases this week

Khaidi no 150

Star Cast; Chiranjeevi, Kajal Aggarwal

Synopsis: The movie si reprotedly the remake of the Tamil movie Kaththi. The movie will stars Chiranjeevi in a double role.

Why should you watch it: Telugu star is all set to make a comeback to the big screen after 9 years. Also, we will get to see Chiranjeevi-Kajal together for the first time.

Gautamiputra Satakarni

Star Cast: Nandamuri Balakrishna, Hema Malini, Shriya Saran

Director: Krish

Synopsis: It’s based on 2 century ruler of the Satvahana dynasty. They call Gautamiputra the unsung hero.

Why should you watch it: We will get to see veteran star Nandamuri take on an unusual character. Also, this film marks his 100th film. We will also get see Nandamuri-Shriya together for the first time.

Synopsis: Little about the plot has been revealed, but it’s a typical high octane actioner.

Why should you watch it: The movie will see Vijay in an ultimate mass avatar. Also, we will get to see Keerthy Suresh and Vijay together for the first time. Jagapathi Babu will play the lead antagonist. With such an interesting cast, it will be worth a watch.

Synopsis: It’s a remake of the Kannada film – Tarka. Some reports state, it’s loosely based on Agatha Christie’s play – the Unexpected Guest.

Why should you watch it: This movie will reveal a completely different side to Vijay Sethupathi the actor. We will get to see him play a psychopathy. Need we say more?

Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga
