MTV’s Fanaah promo: Five reasons why we find the show interesting and gripping

BBC Worldwide Media is coming up with a new on July 21 that has a lot of resemblance to the international series Vampire Diaries

The first promo of MTV’s Fanaah – An impossible love story is out and we found it rather fascinating. Apparently, the promo was shot in six different locations all over Mumbai and amounted to about Rs 45 lakh. The supernatural series showcases a set of experienced and popular actors – Karan Kundra, Rithvik Dhanjani, Anita Hassanandani, Ratan Rajput and Chetna Pande. Even before the trailer went on air, there were rumours that the show is based on Vampire Diaries – the promo simply confirms it.

Here’s why we found the promo intriguing …

#While it seems repetitive to see Rithvik Dhanjani as a werewolf again, we are just glad he is back on TV.

#The cast roped in for the soap is experienced, popular and some of our favourites – who are known to always deliver power packed performances.

#The special effects used in the show seem new and improved when compared to the previous vampire daily soap on Star One – Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani.

#The whole black and white feel to the show with a tinge of red for roses and blood makes the promo stand out and appealing.

# The existence of love in such a complicated story gives us reasons to watch the show. The promo also makes you wonder who is good and bad, what is real and fake – it’s increases your curiosity levels ten folds.

All in all, wethinks the promo was gripping, power inducing and definitely worth a watch. View the video and tell us what you think BollywoodLifers.

I am really impaciente for the come back of rithvik abd karan on tv. They will rock the screen !

  • Mockingnerd

This actually seems more like MTV’s own Teen Wolf reboot than it does Vampire Diaries.

I agree. The only thing i didn’t like was the whole song playing in the background when little Vivan met…whoever that was, i forgot. That seems too Bollywoodish, especially for a supernatural show. And they spent like 6 minutes just introducing Anita’s character in that mansion, which bored me.

Rithvik Dhanjani is awesome! He’s a fabulous actor and I’m glad he’s back with a youth show in a fantasy series. Much better than the ‘repetitive’ daily sopa/saas bahu crap fest on TV!!
