The 10th edition of the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon saw a host of Bollywood celebs, corporate honchos and sports personalities

Braving the morning chill to participate in one of richest marathons in the world, Mumbaikars showed tremendous enthusiasm as they turned out in large numbers for this sporty do on Sunday. In its 10th edition, the Mumbai Standard Chartered Marathon saw the presence of Bollywood actors, celebrities, businessmen and sports personalities. Around 40,000 enthusiastic citizens participated in the event, which highlighted various social causes ranging from female foeticide to saving the tigers to espousing the cause of good health. Bollywood stars like John Abraham, Vivek Oberoi, Juhi Chawla, Gulshan Grover and Sharman Joshi were seen showcasing their sporty side. Singer Shaan, television actor Sakshi Tanwar, politician Chhagan Bhujbal, corporate magnate Anand Mahindra, Mukesh Ambani and Tina Ambani were also spotted at the event. Mayor Sunil Prabhu who was present at the event said that this gathering sends a strong message to the country that Mumbai citizens are in love with the city and dedicated to some good causes.
