MUMBAI MIRROR first look: Sachiin Joshi tries to set things right as cop Yeda Patil

Directed by Ankush Bhatt, the Sachiin Joshi-Prakash Raj starrer looks like a typical masala film

Mumbai Mirror is a cop-drama revolving around the life of police officer Yeda aka Abhijeet Patil, played by Sachiin Joshi. From the film’s first look, one can gauge that Abhijeet’s character Yeda is too unpredictable, crude and overtly confident. And it is this attitude that puts him in trouble. When his close associate gets killed, he chases down the culprits and solves the mystery.

The movie boasts of a small yet interesting cast, with Bollywood’s hot favourite villain, Prakash Raj playing the drug mafia Shetty, while other talented actors like Aditya Pancholi, Mahesh Manjrekar and Prashant Narayanan are expected to pack a punch too. Sachiin made his Bollywood debut with the big budget espionage thriller Aazaan. It wasn’t a huge hit, but that didn’t stop him from trying his hand at acting again. A first look at the poster and it doesn’t look impressive, though the makers have come up with a catchy release line – 18th Jan la gheun tak! Let’s see if the narrative can actually live up to that.Subscribe to me on YouTube
