Mumbai Mirror trailer: An average run-of-the-mill action movie

Sachiin Joshi will be seen packing some mean punches and performing some hard-core action in the film

Sachiin Joshi is the protagonist and Prakash Raj is the bad guy in Ankush Bhatt’s Mumbai Mirror trailer. This is Sachiin’s second film after Aazaan, and looks like Joshi is highly inspired by cop flicks like Dabangg and Singham. But the point is that Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn have the star power to make anything work, even if it’s a film with a shoddy script. But don’t you think someone like Sachiin Joshi has to try really hard to make people go gaga over his fight sequences and desi dabangg kinda attitude? We guess the actor is confident enough to pull off a role that’s done to death, which is why he did the film right?

Prakash Raj is seen indulging in the same villainous antics and despite the fact that he’s an actor par excellence, we are disappointed that Bollywood isn’t utilising him the way he should be. He needs more challenging roles and not just asked to step into the shoes of characters that are so run-of-the-mill.

Mumbai Mirror looks very average. But there are times good films come in average packages, so we give this action flick the benefit of the doubt…
