Mumbai police officers to watch ‘Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum’

The ‘lucky’ ones are those who are part of an investigation into a complaint filed against Ekta Kapoor

Ekta Kapoor has finally solved the issue regarding the telecast of The Dirty Picture, but now we hear she finds herself in more trouble. This time, the problem creator is Kya Super Kool Hain Hum. The Tusshar Kapoor-Riteish Deshmukh-starrer includes jokes about the Christian community. Several of its members found these jokes to be in bad taste and filed a police complaint against her at the Bandra Police Station in Mumbai. A case has been registered against Ekta under section 295(A) of the Indian Penal Code – deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings or any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs.

As arbiters, the cops will soon record a statement from Ekta on the issue. But before they do that, they have to first confirm if the scenes that the complainants found offensive are actually a part of the film. For that, the officers will have to watch KSKHH. As if their regular duties were not tedious and tiring enough, they have to now sit through this bawdy flick. Considering the content of the film, we wonder if at the end of it all, they’ll have their own complaints to file.
