Navratri special: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vidya Balan look classy in green!

Green is the perfect balance of cool and warm and symbolises youthfulness. When B-town divas sport the hue, they make us go green with envy!

The colour green marks the seventh day of Navratri, which focusses on Goddess Jagadamba. The natural shades of green are cool and refreshing and we love it when B-town beauties flaunt different hues from the colour family.

Let’s begin with the dhak dhak girl, who was seen not too long ago in a green top with an asymmetrical hem. Madhuri Dixit usually sets heartbeats racing, but her appearance in this green tunic didn’t quite win our hearts, even though it was a new style statement for her. Kajol was spotted in a green quirky jumpsuit – she looked quite funky in the outfit, except for her handbag which was so blah! Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vidya Balan wore green too, but in desi avatars. While Ash looked simply gorgeous in a green kurta-churidar, Vids looked elegant and classy in a green saree accessorised with the pretty jhumkas she loves. Ram-Leela actor Deepika Padukone was seen in a bottle green jacket and, as usual, looked stylish and elegant.

Though we spotted quite a few hotties in green, the one who impressed us most was Kangna Ranaut, who wore the shade in both a desi as well as a western avatar. The curly haired babe was seen in an Aztec print green dress and looked super hot. Kangs was also charming draped in a green saree and carried the look with elan.

The colour green is said to alleviate all negativities in one’s life. So, just like the B-town hotties, let the good triumph over the evil and go green on this festive occasion of Navratri!
