Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently was present at an AIB podcast interview. He was at his explosive best during the interview, which is very unlikely of how he usually behaves in public. During the podcast he was asked about working with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Talking about the major difference between the two, Nawaz stated, “Shah Rukh bhai ka hai ki ek scene ko jab tak uska like (achche se na ho jaaye), kyunki unhonein theater kiya hua hai, unke saath kaam kiya to mujhe laga ek actor ke saath kaam kar raha hoon.” On the other hand about Salman Khan he said, “Bhai ka yeh hai ki ek scene ho gaya ek baar ho gaya dobara nahin…dobara nahin karenge bhai.” (Shah Rukh Khan enacts each and every scene with full dedication as he has done theater in the past, so I felt I am acting opposite an actor, on the other hand Salman Khan is more like a one take actor, he won’t give a retake) During the same podcast interview Nawazuddin Siddiqui was asked about his choices of films and the way he manages his big mainstream projects and indie films. He stated jokingly that, “Maine to bataya na simple sa hai, Bhai (Salman Khan) honge to supporting karenge.” (I told you, it’s simple, if there is Salman Khan, I’ll do supporting role).
