The Telugu actor claims she has not even met the Bollywood queen

All may not be well on the sets of Barfee, the Bollywood debut of Telugu star Ileana D’Cruz. Especially now with rumours surfacing about Ileana not getting along well with her co-star Priyanka Chopra. Insiders claim that the two had a showdown after Ileana complained of being shortchanged and demanded more footage for her character. But the buzz about the catfight has upset Ileana, who is trying hard to make a mark in Bollywood with this film.

Ileana has not taken the reports lightly. “She was shocked with these baseless reports since the rumours cropped up even before she commenced shooting for the film. Although she has met Ranbir Kapoor once, she hasn’t even met Priyanka,” revealed a source close to Ileana. “Director Anurag Basu has etched out prominent and significant roles for both Priyanka and Ileana, so there is no room for silly catfights,” the source added.

In Barfee, Priyanka plays a mentally challenged girl while Ileana portrays the romantic lead opposite Ranbir. The Kapoor lad is playing a mute character.
