Ms Sharma’s maiden production venture has hit a roadblock. Read on to know full story….
Anushka Sharma’s debut production venture N10 was supposed to release in September this year. But the film was pushed to next year as the Band Baaja Baaraat actress had two big releases in 2014 - Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rajkumar Hiran’s PK with Aamir Khan. Since Anushka didn’t want her films to release back-to-back, she apparently decided to postpone her production venture. However, Bombay Velvet will now be releasing in 2015 which is why the leggy lass is in a sticky situation.
Apart from BV, Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do starring Anushka, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and Anil Kapoor will also hit the screens next year. We dunno if Virat Kohli’s ladylove will push her film NH10 further but as of now her production venture has no release date.
While talking to a leading tabloid, a source said, “Bombay Velvet’s director Anurag Kashyap’s sudden announcement took everyone unawares. Now a release date for NH10 has to be finalised keeping in mind this new development. Besides, Anushka is also part of Dil Dhadakne Do, which releases in June 2015 just after Bombay Velvet. So now she has to look for a suitable release date for NH 10.”
Sharma’s spokesperson also said to the tabloid, ““Nothing has been finalised as of now. The film is in post-production and it will release on the best possible date.”
