Priyanka Chopra shed almost 7 kilos for in 20 days for Zoya Akhtar’s film Dil Dhadakne Do. The desi gal has been shuttling between Bollywood projects and her international singing assignments and has struggled to get her look for the biopic on Olympics bronze medalists is ready for another new avatar. It seems that the sporty babe shed some muscles to play a chic business woman in her next film that also features Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma.
The actor’s regime was closely monitored by boxer Jharna Sanghvi over the last year. And while PeeCee, who plays a girl from Punjabi family in Zoya Akhtar’s next has achieved her new look, her trainer doesn’t exactly subscribe to this quick fix formula. The busy bee didn’t just have to take up a strenuous regime, but also followed a strict controlled diet.
Commenting on Ms Chopra’s transformation Sanghvi said,“It is not advisable to cut 6-7 kilos in a mere 15-20 days. But it can be achieved for boxers with the right weight training and activities like skipping and running. This was coupled by a strict protein rich diet minus carbs. Regular exercises and running for at least 30 minutes helped a huge way”.
After getting her new look, we hope that Piggy Chops can control and maintain her diet, especially if she finds her co-stars indulging in some food feast on the cruise.
