Priyanka Chopra: I’m not a villain in real life!

PC has donned various characters on screen, the actor has never played any sport in her life, yet she is confident of playing a sportsperson in the film.

Priyanka Chopra, is confident of her moves in Bollywood. And the actor clears that her reel character isn’t what she is in real. Piggy Chops said in a recent interview, “If I play a villain on screen, for that I don’t need to be a villain in real life. If I have done action in ‘Don’ that doesn’t mean I need to do it first in real life”. PC plays Mary Kom in a biopic on the Olympic bronze medalist, believes she will convince the audience in the role of a boxer, “I will try my best to play a sportsperson in the film. I will try my best to be as close to the boxer as I can. I will convince you as a boxer in the film. I have never played any sport in my life and it’s quite ironic that I am playing a sportswoman, but that’s the beauty of an actor”.  The actor was seen in an action avatar in Don – The Chase Begins Again and Don.

Now, we know how PeeCee is a sweetheart in real life, but we can’t get one recent episode out of our mind – how the actor was all bossy on the sets of Mary Kom. And what about that episode where she changed the shoot location from Manali to Mumbai all because of a bug bite? Now that may not really be villain like, but definitely isn’t being easy especially on the producers and the production unit that worked so hard on the recce and other details for the film, na? Also this real life incident reminds us of the reel performance of Piggy Chopra in Fashion, BollywoodLifers do you spot similarities between the reel and real life diva?
