After reportedly getting an A certificate from the Censor Board, Priyanka Chopra’s latest item song has been reviewed and handed over a U/A certification
After receiving complaints from Delhi based women activists for allegedly promoting commodification of body, the Censor Board had reportedly handed over an A certificate to Priyanka Chopra’s much talked about item number Babli badmaash. In this forthcoming song from the upcoming release Shootout At Wadala, you will see Priyanka in an edgy leather costume with lights mounted all over the outfit. PeeCee is all set to show some sexy moves in this solo number.
After submitting Babli Badmaash hui for certification, Balaji Motion Pictures – the producers of the film – were informed that it would get an ‘A’ because it was an item track. Balaji in their reply informed the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) that the industry was not aware of any such rule and that this would warrant a larger discussion between both the parties. And now the board has reviewed the number and certified Priyanka’s Babli badmaash as U/A, which means children below 14 years can watch the song under parental supervision.
We at BollywoodLife think that the high-voltage number’s promo is fun to watch and there is nothing obscene about it. Now you watch the teaser of this song and tell us if this dance number looks anywhere close to objectionable?
