Raftaar Singh and Komal Vohra’s wedding was one musical affair – watch videos

Dilin Nair, popularly known as Rapper Raftaar Singh, finally tied the knot with his long time girlfriend Komal Vohra on December 1 in a grand yet private wedding at Delhi. “We are keeping the wedding in Delhi. We are only inviting very close family members and very few friends of mine from the industry will also be present. But it won’t be a big affair,” Raftaar said in an earlier interview. They looked stunning as they twinned in golden shades.

The couple had a roka ceremony earlier this year and got engaged to her on 28th Novemeber. The festivities began with a satsang on November 26, which was followed by sangeet, mehendi and a dhol night. The 28-year-old rapper, planned a surprise for his lady love in which he sang her favourite songs, Raabta, Samjahawaan and Sniper. In one of the videos we can also see Badshah shaking a leg with the couple. The songs played in the sangeet will really make you want to attend a wedding now!

For the uninitiated, Raftaar’s bride, Komal is an interior designer who runs her own company. Her elder brother, Karan Vohra, plays the male lead in Zee TV’s Zindagi Ki Mahek, while the younger one, Kunal Vohra, is a part of the popular TV show Brahmarakshas.“Komal and I met at a mutual friend’s residence five years ago and hit it off instantly. She has been very supportive and patient during my struggling phase. We decided to get married as I’m more settled in my career,” Raftaar was quoted saying to a leading daily.

I know he won’t see this. But worth a shot. I have never been this happy, even on my first cousin’s wedding. But I’m for some weird Fanboy reason, I’m super happy for Raftaar. Jinke songs logo ke bachelor parties me bajte h ab vo hi bachelor nhi rhe. He doesn’t even knows me but he’s like a family. Like that cool older brother who you admire looking, his style, his success, his struggle. Everything inspires you and for that motivation that he gives me, that energy his songs fill me with… Like my last year of school was studying and singing Swag Mera desi as loud as I can, like literally everytime. These things make him more than just a star but more like a brother. And I’m next level excited for him and this new chapter in his life that just started. Congrats to @raftaarmusic and @komal_vohra on your wedding. #raftaarwedskomal #raftaar #raftaarwedding
