The first superstar of Bollywood passed away on July 18

The prayer meet and chautha of Rajesh Khanna, the legendary actor who passed away due to prolonged illness on July 18, was held at a five-star hotel in Mumbai on Sunday, July 22.

Bollywood’s who’s who, including Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Nanda, Sonakshi Sinha, Deepika Padukone, Malaika Arora Khan,  Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Prateik, Neelam, Sonu Sood, Vivek Oberoi, Vikas Bhalla, Vinod Khanna, Mithun Chakraborty, Shakti Kapoor, Jeetendra, Asrani and Ranjeet were among those present. Almost the entire Kapoor family, including Shashi Kapoor and his Kunal, Rishi and Neetu Kapoor with son Ranbir, and Randhir and Rajiv Kapoor were seen. Filmmakers Yash Chopra, Gulzar, David Dhawan, Ashutosh Gowariker, Rakesh Roshan and Sajid Khan also walked in at the prayer meet.

Twinkle Khanna who was absent from the funeral was seen with son Aarav and husband Akshay Kumar. Rinke Khanna was also seen. An audio clipping of Rajesh Khanna’s life and times was shown at the chautha. Click below for pictures
