The iconic superstar says he is very disturbed about Sanjay Dutt’s verdict, but he remains hopeful that things will get better

Although Sanjay Dutt and Rajinikanth may have not worked together in a long time, the superstar is clearly on Dutt’s side, and came out with a heartfelt statement in favour of the troubled actor. Today Rajinikanth released a press statement where he revealed that he is disturbed yet hopeful about Dutt’s fate. “I was very disturbed when I heard my friend and a lovely person Sanjay Dutt’s verdict. The current support and appeal for his pardon is giving me hope. I pray to god that he gets remedy and spends atleast the rest of his life peacefully” said the Superstar, who had earlier bonded with Dutt in January when the Munnabhai actor was in Chennai shooting for Policegiri.

It seems that Sanjay has earned the love and affection of a lot of people over the years. Besides Bollywood showing support over Twitter and in person, now it seems that the country’s biggest Superstar too loves him immensely!
