Will the actor surprise the audience in this hatke role?

A massive set – made at a cost of about Rs 5 crores – on the lines of Lahore’s Hira Mandi, has been built in Mumbai’s Film City for Vishwas Patil’s forthcoming film Rajjo based on the dying business of mujra houses. Kangna Ranaut will be seen playing a nautch girl in the film.

Recently, we spotted Kangna shooting for a wedding scene in a bunglow in Borivali, and the dulha was Para Arora, who has earlier played the role of young Shivaji maharaj in Colors’s show Veer Shivaji a few years ago. Later, we also saw her enacting a dance rehearsal sequence in a suburban studio. Kangna, who is often compared to Meena Kumari because of her style of dialogue delivery, seems to be an apt choice for this role. And wethinks Kangs has the nazakat to pull it off, but we can’t say the same about her dancing skills. But knowing Kangna, she might still manage to surprise us with Rajjo… What do you think readers?
