Actor Rajkummar Rao who is riding high on the success of his National award-winning film Shahid, said that he will not accept any small roles from now on. The Kai Po Che actor who did small but prominent roles in films like Love, Sex aur Dhokha, Talaash and Queen told this to Bollywoodlife while promoting his next with Vishesh Films titled Citylights. The National award-winning actor said, “I won’t be doing any smaller roles now. I am a greedy actor and would want to be on screen for a longer time.”
The actor added that Shahid gave him more attention than Queen did. Rao said, “Shahid was my film; it was my title role. Moreover it also gave me my first National award, so it will always remain special.” However the actor did credit Kangana Ranaut for the success of Queen. He said, “I have always said, Queen is Kangana’s Shahid. How Shahid worked for me, Queen worked for Kangana.”
Recently, Rajkummar also signed a film with Sholay director Ramesh Sippy. We must admit that this young actor is slowly rising to fame in the filmi circle. What say BollywoodLifers, would you like to see Rajkummar Rao in more lead roles than supporting ones?
