Sanjay Leela Bhansali is back to romance with a fresh pairing
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have already become one of the most watched couples in B-town. Their recent photos from a party in Dubai, and Ranveer’s flattering comments about how there is never a dull moment between the two have created a huge buzz that the two young actors are dating. Just a look at the first poster of their upcoming film Ramleela directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and you can see that the chemistry between the two is quite palpable.
Earlier, two other actors (Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai) had also fallen in love with each other while shooting for Bhansali’s epic love story Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, and the audience went into theatres to discover their onscreen chemistry. The Ranveer-Deepika pairing too could create similar excitement in Ramleela.
A shirtless Ranveer with a heart-shaped tattoo on his bulked up arms, and an ethereal Deepika in a voluminous ghagra standing atop a heap of guns – with the tagline goliyon ki raas leela – give the impression that it’s a story of love in violent times.
Bhansali is back to direction after three years – his last was Guzaarish in 2010 – and he is dabbling in a love story for the first time after the debacle of Ranbir Kapoor-Sonam Kapoor starrer Saawariya in 2007. So obviously, there is a lot riding on Ramleela, especially since he has included his mother’s name (Leela) in this one!
We definitely liked the first look of Bhansali’s latest and can’t wait to find out what’s brewing between Ranveer and Deepika – onscreen and off. Wink!
