For the first time, the self-confessed shy actor will set foot on stage for a concert to promote his latest film Rockstar
While most actors love to entertain a live audience with their dance and drama, hottie Ranbir Kapoor has refrained from it. Some say it is his shy nature. Some say the actor likes to connect with his fans through the movies and not go on public platforms. That’s one of the reasons he isn’t a part of any of the social networking sites. Anyway, a while back there were stories of the young Kapoor going on a worldwide tour with leading ladies Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone, but it just remained rumours. Finally, after five years in the film industry, for the first time, Ranbir will set foot on stage in front of a live audience for a gig promoting Rockstar. The makers of the drama have scheduled a concert in Mumbai on November 1, 2011 and apart from Ranbir, his co-star Nargis Fakhri, singer Mohit Chauhan, director Imtiaz Ali and the film’s music composer AR Rahman will be performing at the concert. While the chartbusting rock anthem Sadda Haq will be the highlight of the evening, others numbers from the film’s soundtrack – Katiya karoon, Nadaan parinde, Tum ho, Jo bhi main and Kun faaya kun – will be also performed at the concert. So after milking cows, experiencing the rural life of India, learning to play a guitar, Ranbir now adds a new art – to perform in front of a live audience – to his talent kitty.
