Ranbir Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz leave ‘Barfee’ crew teary-eyed
Tissues were in demand on the sets of Barfee! All thanks to the moving performances of actors Ranbir and Ileana
Ranbir Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz’s emotional performance in Anurag Basu’s much-awaited Barfee left crew members teary-eyed. “Certain emotional scenes between Ranbir and Ileana were so intense and beautifully performed that they left many of us in tears”, reveals a source from the sets of Barfee. “We would refrain from engaging in too much conversation with each other even after the completion of scenes. As we required some quiet time to get out of that emotional zone,” added a birdie from the production. Ileana, a popular name down South with films like Pokkiri, Jalsa and Kick to her credit, plays the character of a translator in the film. Barfee, which is expected to release by mid-2012 also features Priyanka Chopra in a pivotal role in the character of an autistic girl. Ranbir plays deaf and dumb in Barfee. The film promises to be a powerhouse of strong performances. Looks like dialogues or no dialogues, Ranbir simply rocks!
