Ranbir Kapoor and Siddartha Mallya: most desirable?
Simi Garewal’s new chat show includes both of them in the list of India’s Most Desirable Singles
Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone will find themselves in the spotlight once again on a chat show and, fortunately for them – but unfortunately for us viewers – they won’t be together. Star World is all set to start Simi Garewal’s new show. This time though, it won’t be a rendezvous. Simi Selects India’s Most Desirable will see the veteran hostess chatting up single celebrities across different fields and will reveal what makes them so…umm…desirable. The launch episode has Ranbir strumming the guitar, playing games and interacting with the live audience as he (supposedly) reveals his true personality. Our problem is that several chat shows have promised that same stuff before and we waited, watched and then finally figured that it’s just not gonna happen. But what’s got us all excited is that later episodes have been scheduled with Deepika Padukone and even Siddharth Mallya. Remember another chat show and another couch where a certain Ms Padukone revealed Mr Kapoor’s deep, dark and dire secrets? We wonder if Ranbir will finally retaliate, or if he is too much of a gentleman to kiss and tell. Now that’s something about his personality we’d love to know more about. The other thing that had us grinning was the fact that by featuring both Ranbir and Siddharth on the show, Simi is calling them both India’s Most Desirable single men. Now all we wanna know is, what does Deepika have to say about that?
