The Barfi! actor is more nervous than excited to perform with his veteran actor-mother at the awards ceremony to be held next week
Last year, Ranbir Kapoor, along with his charming father Rishi Kapoor, stole the IIFA Awards show with their scintillating jugalbandi dance performance. This year, he has decided to perform with his super talented mom Neetu Kapoor at the 19th Annual Colors Screen Awards. Yay!!! It’s a coincidence that January 12 also marks the centenary year of Hindi cinema and Ranbir and Neetu will represent the Kapoor’s family legacy that spans eight decades.
“It’s a moment of pride and honour for me to represent Bollywood in all its glory. I belong to a family that has served Bollywood for 84 years, and I hope to take this legacy forward. It is a privilege to be a part of the Colors Screen Awards, a platform that honours professional excellence in the Indian film industry,” said Ranbir while addressing the media at a press conference.
While the mother-son performance will be the key attraction of the evening, other B-town stars like King Khan Shahrukh Khan, Student Of The Year actors – Siddharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra will enthrall the audience too. Hmmm…. looks like it’s gonna be one helluva show to watch out for!
