Grapevine is that both Kapoors are strong contenders for the lead role in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s love saga. Let us know who you think makes a better lover onscreen?

According to our little birdie, the Rockstar dude isn’t the only contender to play the lead role in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s ambitious love triangle Chithiyaan. He might have to get in a serious tussle with the Mausam hero for this project. According to rumours, Shahid Kapoor has been passing indirect hints through friends to the 3 Idiots’ producer to be part of the romantic drama. And why not, apparently this is supposed to be one of Chopra’s best scripts! We understand the dancing star’s eagerness to work with the fine filmmaker, but didn’t he already do an epic love story earlier this year. True that it turned out to be the biggest disappointment of the year, but should he do a similar story so soon? Anyway, if you look at the two reigning stars’ track record, Shahid rose to the top in B-town because of his chocolate-boy looks which was a perfect fit in romantic tales like Ishq Vishk, Dil Maange More!!! Vivah, Jab We Met, whereas Ranbir experimented in various genres as an actor. Perhaps he prefers to keep the romance off screen! So ideally we’d like to give our vote to Ranboo, who has done fewer love sagas than Sasha. Or you rather prefer watching Bollywood’s favourite romantic hero after Shahrukh Khan, to don the greasepaint for a love saga again? Tell us what you think?
