Ranveer Singh-Sonakshi Sinha in Ishaqzaade 2?
Buzz is that Habib Faisal wants to make a sequel to his hit small town love story
Even as Jab Tak Hai Jaan hits the theatres, there is a new secret development taking place at the Yash Raj Films office. If what we hear is true, Habib Faisal, who got a fair amount of critical acclaim and box office success for the Arjun Kapoor-Parineeti Chopra starrer Ishaqzaade that released earlier this year, is readying himself to make Ishaqzaade 2.
A little birdie close to Faisal tells us that the director is busy finalising the script right now and is planning to cast mutual admirers Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead. “It will be a small town love story about two fearless lovers once again, but with a twist,” says the birdie.
We wonder whether yet another small town love story will get the audiences excited this time around. The Ranveer-Sonakshi pairing could do the trick though. In any case, we’ll get a glimpse of their chemistry in Vikramaditya Motwane’s Lootera, and if the two click, it might raise our interest in Ishaqzaade 2.
