The Ladies vs Ricky Bahl actor is writing a dark comedy which he plans to produce, direct and act in too!

Not many know that actor Ranveer Singh was a copywriter before making a starry debut in Yash Raj Films’ Band Baaja Baraat. Having tasted accolades and fame for his acting, Ranveer is now busy promoting his second film Ladies vs Ricky Bahl. He’s also gearing up for his next film Lootera in which he will be playing the lead opposite his alleged girlfriend Sonakshi Sinha. But it’s not just acting that’s keeping Ranveer occupied these days. The 26-year-old is still  in touch with his writing roots – he’s penning a dark comedy on a contemporary subject which he believes will strike a chord with today’s youngsters if converted into a film. Though many believe it s too early for the young actor to venture into direction, we think otherwise. After all, if one has talent and faith in oneself, and is wiling to multitask, anything is possible. Look at Farhan Akhtar for instance. He’s a multitasking dynamo. He wears so many hats – he’s an actor, producer, director and singer! But Farhan is a focused individual with his head firmly placed on responsible shoulders. From what he hear so far, Ranveer is still to realise that fame may be shortlived. Wethink if he can strike a good balance and don’t let the quick stardom go to your head, he can be as good as Farhan, if not better!
