The makers of the Emraan Hashmi-Abhay Deol-starrer reveal the identity of their ‘Imported kamariya’
The controversy surrounding the Bharat mata ki jai song is yet to settle and Dibakar Banerjee has already announced another highlight of Shanghai, the item girl who will steam things up with her oomph in the Imported kamariya song. It features a British import, Scarlett Mellish Wilson, who will be seen for the very first time on the celluloid. Before this, the blue-eyed girl has been seen in many prestigious TV commercials, one of which was with Saif Ali Khan.
Talking about her dancing skills Dibakar said, “Someone recommended Scarlett for our item song. I couldn’t believe how well she danced! Scarlett is by far one of the best in the Bollywood dance form I’ve seen. Usually when foreigners do Bollywood dancing, there’s a certain amount of stiffness in their movements. Not Scarlett. She takes to the rhythms as though she was born to the desi beat”. Now that we’ve seen and heard so much about Scarlett, we can’t wait to find out if this latest Brit import has outdone the Sheilas and Munnis of B-town.
