The Mardaani actress tells us her reasons for not being on Twitter or Facebook
Unlike her contemporaries Preity Zinta and Shilpa Shetty, Rani Mukerji has no presence on social media. Even though her fans have expressed their want for their favorite actress to have a direct connect with them, Rani feels that she isn’t still ready for the experience. In an exclusive chat with BollywoodLife, she talks about her apprehension of getting on to the social media bandwagon.
Rani says, “After Mardaani I might think of joining. It’s very important that when you are on social media you as a person have to be very open about answering questions about your personal life and you can’t be guarded. I feel that with if am not able to give it ample time and if I have someone else tweeting for me then it doesn’t make sense. I wouldn’t want to cheat with my fans. Also you have to constantly keep in touch and be present; I am not in touch with my own friends! I don’t like discussing too much about my personal life , so I feel that if I do get onto social media I can’t disappoint a fan.”
