The Agneepath actor feels it is unfair to draw comparisons between his co-star and Amitabh Bachchan is unfair

Ever since the remake of Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Agneepath was announced, purists have been crying their throats sore. Comparisons are inevitable, especially if it is a film as celebrated as Agneepath and the stars involved are Amitabh and Hrithik Roshan. Defending the modern day Vijay Deenanath Chauhan, in a recent interview, Rishi Kapoor said, “To draw comparisons between Mr Bachchan and Hrithik is quite unfair because both films are different and you practically cannot compare them because both have their unique styles. Hrithik has underplayed his part but has come out very intense. There’s something terrific about Hrithik. I’m very fond of him and he too knows that. I consider Hrithik as one of our industry’s finest young actors around.” Wethinks it is really sweet of Sr Kapoor to come to Duggu’s rescue and we are confident that Hrithik will do justice to his role.
