Genelia D’souza’s hubby dearest is no longer just a funny man. This year the Housefull 2 actor is not just on a roll professionally, but has also proved his mettle as an versatile actor. Should other B-town actors be worried? Oh yes…
Riteish Deshmukh has never failed to tickle our funny bone with his comic antics. And when it comes to comedy, he is undoubtedly one of the best actors. But there is more to Riteish as an actor and he has proved it with his last two films. Sajid Khan’s Humshakals was out-an-out a a comic caper and Deshmukh stood out in the multi-starrer coz this genre is his forte. However, with Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain, RD certainly redefined himself as a kalaakaar. We saw Riteish’s never-seen-before avatar in the romantic thriller and it was an absolute delight. He not only impressed the critics with his psycho act but also won the audiences heart. No wonder, many felt Ek Villain belonged to Riteish Deshmukh.
Apart from romance, comedy and thriller, this B-town hunk has even starred in a sex comedy. Yes, how can we forget Grand Masti. And if all this wasn’t enough, the Bluffmaster actor is now venturing into action genre with his Marathi debut Lai Bhaari. What’s even more interesting is that Riteish’s last three films – Grand Masti, Humshakals and Ek Villain even got cash registers ringing. Guess Riteish is slowly turning out to be a crowd puller, hai na?
Going by Riteish Deshmukh’s recent track record, we can certainly say one thing – this actor is not just witty but spooky and dabangg as well… of course onscreen that it is. That’s brand new Riteish for you! We like it, what about you Bollywoodlifers?
