Sex education among children and how parents need to deal with this sensitive topic is the subject of the forthcoming Marathi film Balak Palak. Riteish Deshmukh has turned into a proud producer with this movie and he’s excited to show the film to his B-town friends Akshay Kumar, Asin, Karan Johar, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Tusshar Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Chunky Pandey, Ashish Chaudhary, Sanjay Kapoor, Sohail Khan amongst others.
Balak Palak has created quite a buzz already as it has been screened at reputed film festivals like the South Asian International Film Festival (SAIFF) in New York and MAMI in Mumbai, and has received tremendous support from the Marathi industry at large. And now, we hear, Riteish will hold the special screening of the movie with English subtitles as most of his filmi gang doesn’t speak Marathi.
Balak Palak is directed by Ravi Jadhav and co-produced by Uttang Thankur. It is slated to release on January 4, 2013.
