Reports around Rajinikanth–Akshay Kuamr‘s 2.0 have ceased to surprise us now because this movie is full of unexpected elements. As per the most recent report in the Hindu, 2.0’s budget just increased by Rs 50 crore. So, now the total budget of the film is a whopping Rs 400 crore. “Considering that the film has received a tremendous buzz, we have decided to make sure that the film really measures up to Hollywood standards. We are spending more money to enhance the visual effects of the film,” stated Lyca production head to the leading daily. That’s not all, the movie is set to release in six languages – Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, English, Japanese and Chinese. In fact, the number of languages might have even increase because of kind of response the 2.0 first look has got. “We have received enquiries from Brazil and Argentina as well. So we are happy that the film is being talked about and has the potential to unlock newer markets. Apart from the traditional markets for Hindi/Tami/Telugu movies such as the U.S., U.K., the middle east, Singapore and Malaysia, some distributors have approached us to screen the film in more than 300 screens in the German and Austrian markets. Even the most popular Indian films are not screened in more than 40-50 screens in these countries,” the producer further added while speaking to the same leading daily. And we thought only Baahubali was magnum Opus. 2.0 is setting new standards for action sequences, visual effects and viewer experience. And this is apart from a hefty marketing budget. The 2.0 team is clearly going all out and setting new trends. Also Read; Akshay Kumar’s first look from 2.0 is just pure evil and we are loving it
