Saifu seems to be getting really ambitious with his big budget spy thriller as he hopes the film crosses the important figure

Will Agent Vinod follow in the footsteps of Ghajini, Ready, Dabanng, Bodyguard, Singham, 3 Idiots, Ra.One, Don 2 and Agneepath and cross the Rs 100-crore mark? Producer of the film Saif Ali Khan seems to think so. At a recent promotional event, he said, “The film will be released both in multiplexes and single screens and it has the potential to cross Rs 100 crore in revenue and I look forward to it.”

There’s no harm in being ambitious Saif, but all the films that have reached the magical figure had got huge openings. Stars like Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan are some of few actors who have that kind huge draw at the BO and their films have the potential to earn those big bucks. Saif, on the other hand, hasn’t shown that kind of promise yet, even though his Love Aaj Kal was a hit. Let’s hope, for Saif’s sake, that he’s able to prove us wrong!
