Saif Ali Khan believes that Indians are not meant for kissing and sex scenes – Do you agree?

The Bullett Raja actor appeared on Anupama Chopra’s popular chat show The Front Row With Anupama Chopra recently. The 43 year-old-actor explained why he thinks that Indians are not made for kissing-on the screen that is!

Saif Ali Khan might have indulged in kissing in a couple of movies in his career spanning over two decades but toady the 43-year-old Nawab of Pataudi thinks that Indian’s are not particularly good at the art of locking lips. “I feel in India it is not required in our films to have kissing scenes. I don’t think it’s required to be overly sexual. It doesn’t suit us. It doesn’t work onscreen. Nobody looks comfortable doing it.” said Saifu when he appeared recently on the popular chat show The Front Row with Anupama Chopra.

Saif and Kareena Kapoor Khan have made a commitment that the two won’t do any kissing onscreen in their movies. Saifu also believes that it is not required in our films. “ It’s not done well enough. And there are few times onscreen that a kiss is warranted and when it is, it should be done in a way that it means everything. But our culture is about not kissing in public. We don’t show affection in public. You’re not meant to be kissing in the car. It’s illegal apparently. Policewaalas will come knock on the glass, right? So I think culturally, it doesn’t work. And there’s no need for it,” maintained Saif.

Agree for the first time with any of the Khans though I like none of them neither their style or acting or larger then life so called Public Persona. But what Saif said is absolutely correct. What’s the need for sex sex sex and that too in such a demeaning way they way it is show in our media. It leaves a bad odour not to mention taste. Outright vulgarity is shown in our media.
I wish some old charm returns when actors would say it all through their beautiful eyes. You can watch it with your elders as well as chidlren.

Totally agree with Saif, on screen kiss & sex is against our culture, so Indian film makers must stop making sex films
