Saif-Kareena to have special ‘Jaipur ka paan’ at the wedding

The famous paan (betel leaves) prepared in the Rajasthan capital are likely to add royal flavour to Bollywood couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s wedding, which will reportedly take place in Mumbai on October 16

Annu Mobile Paan Bhandar, a shop in the city, is said to have been approached by an event management company to supply a wide variety of paans for the wedding.“We have been approached by an event management company to supply paans. We will be sending a few samples to them in a day or two and if everything goes fine, we have to send 500 special paans of about a dozen different qualities and flavours for the wedding,” said Annu Mobile Paan Bhandar’s owner Annu Daswani.

“It gives us immense pride to supply paans during the most awaited wedding of this year,” added Daswani. He also said that the paans with different flavours, including mango, orange, chocolate, strawberry and pineapple, will be wrapped up in gold and silver warq (thin foils). “Special packets would be used to package the paans that will make them look attractive when they served to the guests at the wedding.”

Each packet will have five paans and the average cost of each one is between Rs150 to Rs175, without transportation charges.
